Ah i see! Thanks for your sharing. Our background are similar, i also have 2.5 yrs of work experience…feels like a downgrade indeed…and yeah, totally agree on the lowball part…the pay they offered was similar to the pay i got when i just graduated as a fresh grad.

Unfortunately, i was laid off from my first company (not faang, but tech company) last yr and joined another company (a bank) afterwards.

My current work is not so interesting so i am tempted to take up the offer just for the brand name and work so that my resume gets a boost…but i don’t feel completely happy about it because it does feel like i am back to square one again in my career (one of my recent post talks abt this)
